During the current period of time when emphasis within DoD procurement is on efficiency, subcontractor quality control procedures are being considered as a possible means of improvement. The document explores possible means of improving the efficiency of subcontractor quality control procedures on Government contracts. Through extensive questionnaire techniques, expert opinions of knowledgeable quality control personnel have been gathered and evaluated. Suggested ASPR changes are presented as a possible means of increasing the efficiency and effectiveness of subcontractor quality control.
