The Super Loki Dart Meteorological Rocket Systems have been developed to obtain high altitude temperature, density and wind measurements by means of small inexpensive rocket systems. The Super Loki Robin Dart System was designed as a replacement for the larger and more expensive Viper Robin Dart to obtain falling sphere density and wind data from an altitude of 30 km to 90 km. The Super Loki Transponder Dart was also developed in order to offer better wind and temperature data from 25 km to a higher altitude, 70 km, than the more expensive Arcas Transponder system. The Super Loki Transmitter Dart was developed as a candidate to replace the Loki Dart by also offering improved data to higher altitudes.
