Pagination or Media Count:
Through the support of U. S. Army Test and Evaluation Command TECOM Instrumentation Development Program, U. S. Army Materiel Command AMC, a modern miss distance measuring system is under development. The system embodies a ground-based radar system and effectively offsets the limitation of optical instrumentation. The feasibility for the concept was developed by the U. S. Army Air Defense Board, demonstrated during 1970, and culminated in a series of live firing tests at Fort Bliss, Texas.
