The magnitude of the field intensity was calculated only for points on the perpendicular line drawn from the plane through the center of the antenna. This study should be especially useful in interpreting the results of pole tests of radio proximity fuzes made with finite ground screens and relating these findings to the results that would have been obtained with an infinite ground screen.
