Abstract:
A numerical method, requiring the use of a computer, is developed to determine mass flow rates in two-phase gas-solid rocket nozzle flow. In addition to the conservation equations of total mass, momentum, and energy, a particle energy equation and equation of motion are included in the analysis. The selection of appropriate particle drag coefficients and convective heat transfer coefficients is a primary consideration in the successful utilization of the method. Author
