Abstract:

The bursting strength and other physical properties of vinol paper depended on the strength of bonds formed between vinol and poly-vinyl alcohol I sizing composition. Some physical properties e.g., puncturing strength of the vinol paper reached a maximum when the content of I was 20 and declined thereafter. The bursting strength of vinol paper was a function of the length and diameter of I fibers. Author
