This study concerned the evaluation of the house fly problem in Douglas, Arizona, and Agua Prieta, Sonora, Mexico, and was initiated following a request for assistance from the Cochise County Health Department. On the suspicion that there could be an exhibition of adaptive behavior to an arid urban environment this study was concerned with breeding sites, seasonal abundance, dispersal patterns, longevity, overwintering and oviposition.
