Abstract:

The measurement of the human describing function and remnant in a compensatory tracking task is undertaken. These measurements are obtained through the application of the fast Fourier transform technique on a hybrid analog-digital computer. This method processes the data in real time with minimal core storage and the results are available immediately upon completion of the tracking run. Author
