Two types of subcellular particles mitochondria and nerve ending particles were exposed to ELF non-ionizing electric and magnetic fields. The particles were isolated and placed in suspension in two identical test fixtures. An appropriate biochemical function was monitored for both the exposed and unexposed particles simultaneously. Biochemical changes were observed at 50 gauss and 155 volts per meter at 60 Hz and 0C temperature. Author
