Abstract:
The effects of changing the frequency of Doppler radar radar systems operating over bare ground or in a forest environment are explored for targets that are close to the ground. For this purpose, a criterion is formulated which enables a judicious comparison to be carried out between a system that operates at a reference frequency f sub 0 and another system that operates at a frequency f. Results are presented here for horizontally polarized fields over bare ground or in the presence of a forest.
