The report contains abstracts of the presentations given at the Environmental Instrumentation Conference for the Army Materiel Command which was held at Edgewood Arsenal, Maryland on 28 and 29 March 1972. The meeting had a twofold purpose - to present an up-to-date account of technical instruments currently used in monitoring and analyzing the Nations air and water and to exchange ideas about the future requirements for scientific developments in the Army pollution abatement programs. Representatives from twenty AMC Commands, as well as delegates from the Office of the Surgeon General, the Army Corps of Engineers, and the Army Environmental Hygiene Agency participated in the two-day conference.
