Abstract:

Heart rate responses of a coach and a referee were continuously monitored by radio telemetry during a college basketball game. Analysis of data indicated that the heart rate of the coach was higher than that of the official for most of the contest. Events that elicited the highest responses from the coach and referee were turnovers, rebounding and shooting. Author
