Abstract:

The strong interest of the Soviet Union in the technological advances that have been achieved in West Germany and the repeated visits of leading Soviet representatives in West Germany reaffirm the desire for scientific cooperation. It is shown that the attempts in the field of scientific research in welding engineering are being greatly intensified.
