The analysis of nonlinear reactor kinetics with Doppler feedback is developed by the use of the Poincare-Lindstedt perturbation technique. The two types of temperature dependent reactivity coefficients to be investigated are dkdT proportional to 1T and dkdT proportional to 1T to the 32 power. Each of these reactivity models are analyzed for the reactor with positive and negative coefficients of reactivity and infinite slab and finite cylindrical geometries. The Poincare-Lindstedt perturbation solution is constructed in the form of an expansion about the unperturbed state of the reactor. Each of the perturbed equilibrium solutions is subsequently analyzed for stability. Author
