Techniques needed to instrument practical and effective satellite communications systems containing small terminals were developed. The major areas of investigation included time division multiple access TDMA systems, adaptive null-steering arrays, and self-phased arrays. Results of the work reported previously in eight technical reports are summarized. In addition, experimental results obtained relatively recently from the adaptive null-steering array work and a hybrid differential detector investigation are presented. Author
