Abstract:

Formulas and graphs are given for the calculation of sandwich panels with close-packed conical shells and honeycombs as fillers. Separate calculations are given for fillers made of conical shells and extended honeycombs. It is concluded that a hexangular plate as the element of the exterior layer of a sandwich construction is considerably harder as a result of the influence of adjacent elements. Author
