Abstract:

In support of problem solutions in the area of microwave physics, mathematical analysis, computations, and curve plotting tasks were performed. Mathematical analyses were carried out to reduce equations, including differential and integral, to a form suitable for numerical solution. Work was oriented toward solutions of problems in the following areas magneto-acoustic problems, propagation thru a plasma layer, boundary layer problems, resonance phenomena, optimum antenna selection, microwave antenna design, pulse solutions of electromagnetic scattering problems, and antenna array theory.
