Abstract:
A study of computer assisted instruction CAI for US Army basic electronics training at the US Army Signal Center and School establishes the feasibility of CAI as a training technique. Three aspects of CAI are considered effectiveness, efficiency and applicability of CAI to basic electronics training. The effectiveness of both learning achievement and time to complete the course materials is explored. A cost comparison between CAI and current conventional instruction is made. Author
