Abstract:

The pulse technique of nuclear magnetic resonance is used for measuring the coefficient of the translational self-diffusion of molecules in a liquid. The investigations showed that for the majority of the selected liquids the coefficients of self-diffusion increases with an increase in temperature exponentially so that in coordinates the points fall satisfactorily in straight lines. The activation energies were determined based on the slope of these straight lines. Author
