Abstract:
Audiometric threholds were determined for 12 subjects under three head conditions bareheaded, while wearing an M1 helmet, and wearing an experimental helmet. The thresholds were measured for seven tones 125, 250, 500, 1000, 2000, 4000 and 8000 Hz, at each of five angular orientations. Statistically noteworthy differences were studied for main effects and interactions. These appear to fall within the range of variation most people ordinarily experience on a day-to-day basis.
