Abstract:
Very briefly described is research in which the dynamics of phase transition phenomena were investigated by means of laser light scattering spectroscopy. Raman, Brillouin and light-beating techniques were used in exploring the following phenomena The liquid-vapor critical point in carbon dioxide The ferroelectric transition in triglycine sulfate TGS The alpha-beta structural transition in quartz The ferroelectric transition in potassium dihydrogen phosphate KDP and potassium dideuterium phosphate KDP The order-disorder transition in amonium chloride at high pressure.
