The report contains a summarization of the following efforts Propagation through turbulent atmospheres in which a new method for obtaining exact analytical expressions for some statistical functions of an optical wave propagating through a randomly turbulent medium was obtained Nonlinear optics statistics in which the necessary quantum field formalism needed to evaluate the average number of photons in the various modes as well as their variances was developed Cadmium telluride as a window and electrooptical material in which the electrooptic properties and the optical losses of CdTe were measured Electrooptic control in integrated optics Phenomena in High Gain Lasers and Mode Locking by Kerr Optically Nonlinear Liquids.
