Bias errors associated with the three-axis electrically supported accelerometer ESA are investigated. This investigation uses the recently developed flotation technique in which the lg laboratory background and associated seismic variations are attenuated to a low level as much as 10 to the -7th power below their original magnitude by floating the instrument proof mass in a dense gas SF6. An analysis of calibration errors associated with the flotation technique is presented. Author
