Abstract:

Special methods and novel equipment for diver survey in the nearshore zone were designed, tested, and used to conduct a seafloor construction survey at a site off Anacapa Island, California. Sea surface positions were determined and transferred to the seafloor where two permanent benchmarks were placed. The geodetic coordinates of these two benchmarks were determined.
