Abstract:

The report describes work done in image processing using an interactive computer system. Techniques for image differencing are described and examples using images returned from Mars by the Mariner Nine spacecraft are shown. Also described are techniques for stereo image processing. Stereo processing for both conventional camera systems and the Viking 1975 Lander camera system is reviewed. Author
