Abstract:
The research reported in this four-volume Study developed a new procedure for solving constrained min-max problems, applied the procedure in a sophisticated model to determine optimal allocations of area active defense, terminal active defense and passive defense blast shelters, programmed the model for the computer, and employed the computer program in an operations research exercise designed to exhibit the general characteristics of the solution. Volume 4, The Computer Program, contains a description and users guide to the computer program written to make the model operational on any large modern digital computer. Author
