Abstract:
The authors derive the basic system of equations for the investigation of the stress-deformed state of multilayer shells, while taking into account the increased pliability of the material of the layers when subjected to transverse shears. They construct precise analytical solutions, which are special hypergeometric functions, of problems about the axially symmetric deformation of conical and spherical shells. The solutions are generalized for the case where the material of the layers possesses rheonomic properties. Author
