The report describes activities in Development of a Discrete Address Beacon System funded by the Federal Aviation Administration. It is the first Quarterly Technical Summary of this program, covering the period 1 January 1972 to 31 March 1972. The activities include initial studies pertaining to the coordination of grouped sensors, characterization of link interference, and interrogator monopulse antenna design.
