Abstract:
It was established on the basis of an experimental investigation of the effect of viscous lubricants on metal flow in the reverse squeezing, that closing of continuous lubricant layer above the punch, due to the hydrdynamic effect of the lubricant and to continuous lubricant displacement and expenditure in squeezing, sharply reduces the contact friction and specific pressure. It also equalizes deformations and improves the durability of dies. Author
