Abstract:

Various methods of acting upon the cutting face zone of drill holes are being employed for the purpose of extracting remaining oil from the strata. One such method is treatment of drill holes with surfactants. For this purpose the authors synthesized oil-soluble surfactants and studied the surface tension of oil with the addition of surfactants on the oil-water interface. The sodium salts of sodium alkylphenolate sulfonic acid and calcium salts of calcium alkylphenolate sulfonic acid were found, capable of decreasing the surface tension of inactive oil, low-activity sabunchi oil, and active Surakhana oil at the interface with distilled and hard stratal water.
