Abstract:

Chromatography of wide-pore glass may successfully used for purification of lambda bacteriophage. A method for such purification was developed, and phage cultures were obtained with purification of the same order as in the best preparations reported. Optimal parameters of the chromatography process were found and the efficiency of the columns was evaluated.
