Abstract:

A need exists in the Electrical Engineering Department at AFIT for a digital laboratory in which practical applications of courses taught in switching theory and digital systems can be made. Part of this need is filled by the digital logic design console described in this thesis. The console consists of a collection of TTL integrated circuit logic elements are connected through the use of patch cords. There is sufficient logic to construct complex combinational circuits, and even a small computer complete with a semiconductor memory. The result is a reliable and flexible system that can perform many functions in the laboratory. Author
