Abstract:
The influence of overload and underload on the cumulation of creep for the determination of the limit strain and the cumulation of defects under creep conditions are analyzed. Overload produces considerable strain hardening, which decreases with increasing limit strain. Underload causes insignificant softening decreasing with increasing limit strain. The cumulation of defects under creep conditions is quasi linear. This means that at such a strain level there is neither strain hardening nor softening. Author
