CML Conversational Modeling Language is an interactive programming language designed primarily for the implementation of simulations, but reasonably general purpose over a large class of programming problems. CML also contains facilities for its extension, or for defining the syntax and semantics of new, special purpose languages. Unlike users of most conventional simulation languages, the CML user can program, debug, simulate and analyze results on-line every statement in the CML language can be entered through a terminal as an immediately executed command, and users may interact directly with their programs and models at execution time to display, alter, or extend model structure or analyze simulation results.
