The mechanical properties of quenched and tempered Cr-Mo-V steel were determined at temperatures between 800F and 1300F at strain rates ranging from 0.002 to 20min. Experimental data were analyzed as functions of strain rate and temperature on the basis of three semi-empirical mechanical equations of state.
