A Study of Magnetic Transition Properties in the CoS(2-x)Se(x) Familu using Pyromagnetic Detection Method.

Two different kinds of the pyromagnetometer are built to study the pyromagnetic transition properties of the CoS2-xSex family. Data, such as angular dependence, composition dependence, incident radiation intensity dependence, and external magnetic bias field dependence of the pyromagnetic response of this series, are obtained. The results on CoS2-xSex are compared with those on Gd which is presently the most promising material for pyromagnetic radiation detection. Author
