Abstract:

Life testing of items where testing is performed using sequential test techniques can be applied to a multiple lot sampling type of plan. The paper solves the problem of performing sequential life tests on items which are placed on life test at different times, by using a Sequential Probability Ratio SPR test. An SPR test plan is developed which is applicable to testing situations where multiple lots of test items are considered simultaneously. Test lots are not restricted in time as to when they can be placed on test. Also, the problem of handling tests where censored items exist is treated and developed into the SPR test. Author
