For a long time developmental physiology considered the gravity vector as a possible stimulus for the first polarization of the germ of plants and animals today there is more evidence for the autonomy in this first step of differentiation of the organisms. In any case, the ability of the cell for orientation in relation to vector forces is common to plants and animals there are single-celled animals protozoons which undoubtedly possess receptors for vector forces. Other single-celled organisms on the frontier between plants and animals are suspected to have a respective behavior but they show no receptors. In the meantime we have to speculate that the sensitivity to vector forces belongs to the spontaneous properties of the cell this is an ability of cells which even in the case of plant cells does not necessarily appear on the outside immediately or which is at least difficult to demonstrate.
