Abstract:
Flux-flow noise in type II superconductors is studied with the help of pick-up coils. The observed noise can be qualitatively explained as magnetic coupling between the primary superconducting foil and the pick-up coil, but for a quantitative explanation the motion of the individual fluxoids in the primary foil must be taken into account. The correlation between the noise signals induced in two separate pick-up coils is also studied. Author
