Abstract:
Usually, hot water or steam is used for defrosting the pump and pipelines, which may not always be available at the working site. A simple and reliable device is used for the defrosting by the military units. It consists of a gas-intake valve welded to the exhaust pipe of the muffler, a muffling valve and an elastic metallic sleeve equipped at both ends with adapters which are used for connecting the sleeve to the gas-intake valve and to the one-inch connecting piece of the distributing pipe of the water-station.
