The report summarizes the results of the computer calculations of the response of the detector of the Airborne Radiac. The calculations were made as a function of altitude from 2,000 to 8,000 feet and for barometric pressures from 50 to 76 cm of Hg. Analytical equations for converting the detector response to dose rate at ground level are presented. The final status of the Airborne Radiac is reviewed. A Flyable Breadboard is complete and ready for flight testing. Other models are partially completed and are available as spare equipment or for measurements that may be required for future advanced development. Author
