Abstract:

The thermodynamic characteristics of Mg-Cu alloys were studied at temperatures of 600-900C in the concentration range from 0 to 100 magnesium by measuring the electromotive forces in an MgliquidNaCl, KCl, MgCl2mg, Culiquid galvanic cell. The thermodynamic properties found for the alloys are compared with other magnesium-containing systems used as hardeners when inoculating cast iron. Author
