Three types of systems were tried A sandwich-type structure was prepared consisting of two reinforced-plastic facings and a balsa core Grooves were preformed in the subgrade and reinforced plastic was sprayed over the ribbed configurations and Reinforced plastic was sprayed on the surface of the subgrade to form a flat sheet.
