The accuracy of projections of demand accomodation and item turbulence for two different stockage policies is investigated. The first policy compares item demand over one year of history with addition-retention levels to determine items to stock and remove in the upcoming year. The second policy is a 2 year base period policy in that it compares item demand over two consecutive years with the a-r levels. Author
