Abstract:
Mechanically stable superconducting point contacts are developed which are unaltered by repeated thermal cyclings to liquid helium temperatures and which have a long shelf life. Their response to temperature, capacitance, radiation and magnetic fields is investigated with applications to superconducting measuring devices. Author
