Abstract:
The primary objective of the program was to provide RADC an electronic-equipment shelter that successfully meets and exceeds the S-280G requirements and is far more versatile for equipment installation. Detailed objectives were to 1 Provide equipment mounting capability between the panel members and in the panel members of a foam-and-beam shelter. The insert installation was to be the Craig Model 555 Mounting System, which had been developed under a company-funded development program. 2 Provide a safeguard against delamination of the outer skin. 3 Maintain reasonable weight, while meeting S-280G size and performance requirements.
