A Mossbauer effect source of 161Dy was prepared in a matrix of Gd203 for use in magnetic rare earth alloys studies at cryogenic temperatures. A high velocity drive plus or minue 25 cmsec has been assembled for use in measuring resonant absorption in 161Dy. Data on gamma-ray spectra for the 161Dy source are presented. Author
