The report is on a workshop held to stimulate wide discussion and innovative thought on available technology which could be useful to the Navy. Three broad areas were chosen for discussion 1 the technology which supports science and exploration, 2 the technology which is used in transportation, communication, and logistics, and 3 the technology which is utilized or is presently feasible in resource exploitation.
