SAM-A is a time-dependent adjoint gamma ray Monte Carlo code used to calculate primary and secondary gamma ray data at a point or volume detector. SAM-A is part of the SAM-CE system which comprises an ENDFB Round 2 neutron cross section processing code ENDTS, a general purpose forward Monte Carlo code SAM-F and SAM-A.
