Abstract:

Theoretical and experimental limit analysis of strips with holes is presented. Two aluminum alloys PA2 and PA9 were tested. It was found that the yield point load generally coincides with the theoretical upper bound for both aluminum alloys displaying good ductility. The influence of thickness on the limit of strip with holes is also investigated. Author
